愚為庵の料理
(Cuisine of "Guian")

Welcome to Guian, and I am the landlady.

At Guian, you can enjoy “Kaiseki-ryouri”(懐石料理), which is a formal course menu of
Japanese cuisine.
Guian’s Kaiseki-ryouri is arranged by the landlady, based on a
traditional Japanese home cooking.  In "Kaiseki-ryouri”, about 20 kinds of dishes are
served in small portion one after another, considering proper timing to serve the foods
so that you can eat them in the best shape.  Especially at Guian, we named our original
“Kaiseki-ryouri” as “Garyuu-kaiseki”(
雅流懐石), which means an "elegant style Kaiseki
cuisine", and we think much of the food materials.  In our “Garyuu-kaiseki”, you can
enjoy various fresh vegetables we grew at our farm, and also the fish and shellfish taken
at the sea nearby and a Japanese beef produced at a pasture in our neighborhood.  The
menu of cooking is to be changed depending on the season, because we would like you to
enjoy the food in its best season.  All you need to make a reservation first so as to take
your time at a table.  When you prefer to a vegetarian menu, or have any other special
preference and request, please feel free to let us know on your reservation.  We are
pleased to suit your request as much as possible.
